The EPX-SF is ANCA’s advanced stream-finishing machine designed to improve cutting tool performance through precise edge preparation and surface finishing. It immerses tools in a rotating media drum to hone edges, remove burrs, and create nano-smooth surfaces with micron-level control. With 11 axes of motion, three independent workheads, and robotic automation, the system delivers consistent, high-quality results while increasing productivity. The process improves tool life, coating quality, and overall cutting performance while integrating seamlessly into automated manufacturing environments.
